Taking the last moments in..

5-24-11

Today was a little slow at the beginning but ended up amazing. As I type this, i’m in my last hours here in London. It is quite sad. We started out the day with class and a final exam. The exam just covered the basis of sports marketing and the Olympics. To me, it wasn’t that hard and I was done within an hour or so. The quad finished pretty late so I went shopping and finally bought the dress I wanted to buy since monday.
Later we went to Benugo sandwich shop and had the best little lunch. It was so cool in there, the lady remembered us from yesterday. Later that evening we went to BBC. The British Broadcasting Company. This company is the largest in the world We got to tour their studios and also see what was put into the international affairs and their magazine.
Afterward, we had dinner with the ISA staff and it was such a farewell. It kinda was sad to leave all the amazing staff. Dr. Browning put together a poetry slam for the trip which made it absolutely amazing. Her poetry was 30 min long and left us all laughing until we couldn’t anymore.
Afterwards, we all decided to meet up for Coe’s birthday. He turned 29 today. We all met up at a pub near the Thames and celebrated and talked about the whole trip.
This was the greatest end to the trip. We met up with the three teachers, and  we all shared stories and had some amazing laughs. It was probably the funniest because seeing teachers out of their element is just funny in general. We all laughed and shared tons of stories about each other This trip was definitely a lifetime memory  with some amazing people and I won’t forget it. To the students, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute with you, and to my teachers, you are the best, I can’t wait for more memories.
